Who Are We

Welcome to iFix Appliances, your local and professional domestic appliance repair specialists. We are a family run business and our reputation is key to us. 

iFix Appliances was started by owner Glen who has over 19 years experience in the white goods industry. 5 years ago we obtained contracts with international companies, such as Whirlpool, Hotpoint and Indesit, aswell as some home insurance companies so we certainly hold a wealth of experience and knowledge with the added bonus of a great technical support network. 

We offer same day / next day service and have a high ‘first time completion’ rate currently sitting at 92.7% of the calls we go to are fixed in just 1 visit. We have found this keeps our customers very happy and a sense of great service provided. All of our work is guaranteed.

As well as repairs we are also able to supply & fully install new appliances, from recycling your old one to giving you a demonstration… we have you covered.

Our fees

All applicable service charges are quoted at the time of the booking the visit, so you know what to expect. They’ll be confirmed by the engineer on the day itself, making sure you are never worried about hidden cost adjustments. In the rare instance of a discrepancy, simply give us a call and we’ll resolve it immediately.

Your service charge quoted includes the engineer callout and any labour for the time spent to make the repair (whether that’s 10 minutes or 10 hours!).

Of course, once the situation is assessed, the engineer may find that additional parts are required – if that’s the case, you’ll be advised accordingly, and nothing will be done without your express agreement.

We will do everything we can to source the parts at a competitive price and save you as much money as possible. If, however, you decide not to go ahead with the repair then that’s fine – though the service charge will still apply as it covers the engineer’s call out and damage assessment.

There are no hidden fees or undisclosed extras, and if you have any questions either during or after the engineer’s visit, we’re here to help.
